Refund Policy

We want you to be happy with your purchase from The Good Egg Bakery. If something’s not quite right, we’ll do our best to put it right.

Returns – Unused Merchandise

You have 14 calendar days from the date you received your item to request a return.
 

To be eligible for a return:

  • Your item must be unused and in the same condition as received

  • It must not be a perishable food item (this includes items like sprinkles)

  • It must be in the original packaging

  • You must have a receipt or proof of purchase
     

How to return merchandise:

  1. Email us at thegoodeggbakes@gmail.com to book a return.

  2. Enclose your original packing slip or a note with your full name and order number.

  3. We recommend using a tracked service and obtaining proof of postage.
     

Refunds for Returned Merchandise

Once we receive your returned item:

  • We’ll inspect it and notify you of the status of your refund.

  • If approved, your refund will be processed to your original method of payment.

  • Please allow a few days depending on your card issuer’s policies.
     

Returns – Baked Goods

Due to the perishable nature of our baked goods, these are non-returnable and exempt from cancellation rights.
 

Please note:

  • Some couriers allow you to change or delay your delivery date.

  • As our goods are made fresh to order, we cannot accept responsibility for freshness if the delivery is rescheduled.

  • Our baking schedule is fixed to your original delivery date.
     

Cancellations – Merchandise Orders

As a consumer, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason. Business customers are not covered under these rights, but we still encourage you to get in touch so we can help.
 

Before returning goods:

  • Items must be unused and in the same condition as received.

  • Food products must be unopened.

  • Non-food items may be opened but not used; original packaging should be retained where possible.
     

To cancel your order:

  • Email thegoodeggbakes@gmail.com with your cancellation request.

  • You are responsible for return postage; this is non-refundable.

  • Include your packing slip or a note with your name and order number.

  • Use a tracked service and obtain proof of postage.
     

Incorrect, Faulty or Damaged Items

We take great care to ensure our products reach you in perfect condition. If something’s gone wrong, please email thegoodeggbakes@gmail.com as soon as possible.
 

We may ask for:

  • Photos of the damaged or faulty item

  • A return of the goods for inspection
     

If your return is accepted:

  • We will refund the item and postage costs

  • A packing slip or order details must be included with the return

  • Tracked postage and proof of return are recommended
     

Refund Timeframes

  • Refunds are issued within 14 days of us receiving the returned item.

  • All eligible payments will be refunded, including the original delivery costs.

  • Deductions may be made if the item has been unnecessarily handled.
     

Shipping Costs

You are responsible for paying return shipping. These costs are non-refundable.
If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping may be deducted from your total refund amount.
